Sparky's Pals, Inc.

Sparky's Pals will be closing its doors on December 1, 2022. We have not completed our mission, but we have done as much as we can do, given circumstances in our personal and professional lives.

The board and I believe our mission is still important, we are just leaving it to other organizations to complete the work.

I am proud of the work that our board and volunteers have done. I am most grateful to our donors over the years who helped fund our programs.

By teaching the number of children that we did about basic pet care and treating pets as family and not disposable accessories, we hope we inspired them to treat their pets more humanely.

About Us

Sparky's Pals, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Texas corporation located in Dallas, dedicated to animal welfare and providing humane education to the public. We are not a shelter or a rescue group. There are many available rescue groups in the Dallas area, so we decided to focus on education to try to stop pet overpopulation before it starts.

Unlike trainers who educate your pets (and you), we educate people. We would like to change people's attitudes and behaviors towards pets, which we believe would help towards lessening the number of pets abandoned on the streets and left at shelters.
